Benvenuto...to the new spot for coffee, lunch and dinner!
A new comer to downtown and the Burns Court area arrived late this summer. Panini Press, occupying the former premises of the Bungalow (on the corner of Ringling and South Pineapple) has transformed this former on again/off again non-descript location into a brightly lit open aired breakfast and lunch spot. A well done transformation.
We chose to visit Panini Press on a number of occasions for lunch and had the following:
Basket of Mini Panini: Fresh mozzarella, tomato and basil leaf pressed and grilled into small sandwiches served with a light bruschetta dipping sauce $4.95 Very cute, tasty, crunchy sandwiches paired perfectly with the flavorful dipping sauce; a great idea for sharing or accompanying a salad. Fresh from the Garden Salad: Romaine combined with spring lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, and onions with the signature dressing $4.95 Crisp, colorful salad greens and veggies with a light tasting creamy tomato dressing. Chicken Panino: Freshly poached chicken thinly sliced and stacked with mozzarella on bread brushed lightly with pesto and pressed golden brown $6.95 A soft light chicken and cheesy center; lightly seasoned with a crunchy outer crust; satisfying but not overfilling.
Panini Press offers a wide selection of beverages ranging from Italian sodas, smoothies, lattes, beer and wine.
Panini Press, offering a bright and airy décor, great Italian Panini, and friendly, attentive service all served in a very casual setting. Who can ask for more?
